When you smile at me By Pramoth Adhivarahan The wonders you do When you smile at me Is a fact I can’t deny Don’t put up this show That you don’t know What you do to me When you smile at me You like to torture With those eyes That keep saying things I think I only imagine The things I see When you smile at me The thoughts that I hear When you speak to me Don’t ever come out in reality All the while When we are alone I never say What I should be I just smile back at you When you smile at me Then the time comes To say goodbye And as the way you always do You say, “See you” I say the same And walk away I think I missed another day A chance that went away Will I ever be? That brave enough To say the things I always think of When you smile at me. |
