Feeling cold in my lonely house

Waiting for you to come along

Like a gentle breeze to make me warm

Life has been such a drag

From the day you went away

No one to speak to, no one to share

But when you come back

I’ll have my best days back

You’re the one to make me feel all right

Promise me you will never leave me alone

Cause when you do that

All the things around me turn black

Trying to suck me into the void

Of sadness you helped me avoid

Fight with me, but never ignore me

Shout at me, but always speak to me

Make fun of me, but never lie to me

Be my guardian angel

For whom I long for

In my time of sadness you are my shining star.
