Helping Hand

Lend a helping hand

Cause you can do so much

Without me having to ask

Cause there are so many

Who are in need

You and I will take ages to do

The tasks that ask for hundreds and more too

Need I tell you about the poverty

Or the sickness plaguing our humanity

Move now, spread this message of love

To one and to all

A little bit can be done

To make this life worth some bit

It is like giving a lift

To a stranger, to a lost traveler

Cause in this journey of life

It is best to be with someone than to be alone

Is it hard to help someone?

As it seems to be that way

But tell me why

You are the one to ask for help everyday

All have to make a change

A change that would do good to the human race

Help in every way

Wear that smile even though you are sad today

Make them happy, make them laugh

Cause a smile drives away a thousand tears

In the end when the time comes for you to leave

You feel no pain!!!

A cool breeze passes over, taking you along with

But your name remains in somebody’s heart, someone’s lips

For what I tell you now

Won’t be told every time again

So the next time

When someone comes to you

Never again say that
