Heartbreaker

By Pramoth Adhivarahan

All she does when she is free

Is to play with hearts as she please

She don’t care what happens next

But where she has gone

Nothing is left but broken hearts

She gets you with one sharp look

Once you see her there is no holding back

You keep rolling on

But as much you try

You come to your senses

When she leaves you high and dry

Smooth are her moves

No stopping her until she gets what she wants

No guessing she always has a plan

First, Second, Third, they all fall

Like nine pins when hit by the ball

Now it is your turn

But too bad, will you ever learn??

You will never know what hit you

You are poor soul caught in a tornado

Helpless you were, like a falling leaf

Which does not know where it will go

Things are clear now

You feel you are in love

Cause the picture seems so perfect

You can find no faults

No telling she is ready for another kill

You are a thing of past now

Cool your heels now that you are sidelined

Laugh at yourself for being so blind

And watch her hunt him

Just as you were hunted

Watch her grace descend and swallow another one

Poor fellow

He will be just another one!!
